Popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker Rotimi Salami has been named one of the official hosts for OtaFEST 2025, a major cultural and entertainment festival scheduled for Saturday, November 29, 2025, at St. Michael African Primary School in Ota, Ogun State.
The AMVCA winner, known for his commanding screen presence and behind-the-camera work, will bring his signature energy and audience connection to the stage. Salami will share hosting duties with two other well-known personalities: Tobi Olaniyi (popularly called Mc Married Bachelor) and Ogundare Oluwatosin Isaac (Ayanfe Omo Igbo).
Organised by Hertz Universe PR, OtaFEST 2025 promises a packed day of live music performances, professional boxing bouts, a vibrant trade fair, and a family-friendly amusement park—all under one roof. The event is expected to draw more than 25,000 attendees and aims to spotlight Ota as a growing centre for entertainment, culture, and tourism in Nigeria.

Salami’s selection as host continues his steady rise beyond acting. From award-winning performances to philanthropy through his Project Make A Star initiative, he has consistently shown versatility and strong public appeal—qualities organisers believe will help make this year’s festival one of the most memorable yet.
More details about performers, fight card, vendors, and ticket information are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
