Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has publicly expressed his heartfelt appreciation to colleagues and industry stakeholders for the overwhelming support he received following the death of actress Allwell Ademola.
In a message shared on his Instagram page, Salami described the response from the Nollywood community as deeply touching, noting that the unity shown during the difficult period brought comfort to him and others close to the late actress.
He thanked fellow actors, industry guilds, associations, and well-wishers who stood by Ademola’s family through visits, prayers, phone calls, messages, and financial contributions. According to him, the collective support provided strength at a time when grief felt unbearable.
Salami also praised the respectful and dignified way Ademola was laid to rest, saying it reflected how much she was valued within the Nigerian film industry for her talent, personality, and contributions.
He added that every gesture of support — no matter how small — meant a great deal and would always be remembered. The actor also prayed for blessings upon everyone who played a role in supporting the family and expressed hope that the industry would not have to unite again under such painful circumstances.
Allwell Ademola passed away on December 27, 2025, after reportedly suffering a heart attack at her home. Her death triggered an outpouring of tributes from fans and colleagues across Nollywood, highlighting the impact she made during her lifetime.
